Here in Central Otago on the South island of New Zealand we have two kinds of soil, schist rock or glacial moraine. This means hard or harder. To get fence post holes in the ground in the high country sometimes explosives have to used. The good old crowbar is good but The Slammer is better, making short work of digging and ramming posts in hard conditions. Here are some pictures of jobs done in the last year.
